Reliance Jio launches the deferred credit limit feature. How to use it

Reliance Jio offers a new feature to carry over your credit limit to all users who wish to migrate to their postpaid network from any other existing operator. The company will offer the same credit limit as that offered by the previous carrier. The company claims that this will make it easier to migrate all existing postpaid users from other carriers to join JioPostpaid Plus, Jio has launched the carry over function of your credit limit.

With this feature, postpaid users from other operators can simply carry over their existing credit limit from their existing operator to Jio in 3 steps. The company also claims that users won’t have to pay a single rupee or any security deposit to join Jio’s network.

STEP 1: Send “Hi” to 88-501-88-501 from WhatsApp (from your postpaid number that you want to move to Jio)

STEP 2: Download the postpaid invoice from existing operators

STEP 3: After 24 hours, you can walk into any Jio store or call for home delivery of your JioPostpaid Plus SIM and get your desired credit limit without paying a security deposit

Reliance Jio has also launched a new in-flight service that will allow Indian travelers traveling overseas to stay connected to voice and data services on a flight.

In-flight services will be available to Indians when traveling overseas. The company claims that once the services are available in Indian airspace, all Jio customers will have access to them first.

Jio users with a valid in-flight connectivity pack can start using the pack, once their (supported) flight reaches 20,000 feet or more. The company also revealed a list of airlines that will support this new feature as a first step.
